Suddenly, all "code" tags in forum posts are displayed with double spaces. I looked at the html code and it's because for each line break, is included a line break AND a <br> tag.

Example:

this lines
should have
no extra
spaces
between
them

If I view this post in Internet Explorer, there are no spaces between lines.

If I view it in Opera, there are spaces between the lines.

And this "suddenly" changed for you? Did you change anything on your side, like which browser you are using or something?
