One correction. The room cannot be \"completed.\" It can only be passed through.

Hmm, you're right Insane, it is rather easy. Do note that you can't hit all the orbs in this challenge, however.

As I recall, there is actually one of the many remakes of King Dugan's Dungeon which forces this setup.

The hold in question being Henri's (or Doom's, if you prefer) KDD First Level remake. One of the easiest rooms in the hold, if you ask me... but you didn't ask me, of course, so I'd better stay quiet now. See? No more talking!

Yeah, but the problem is that it forces a specific sword direction, cutting down on one eighth of your work, whereas this challenge could (theoretically) be done in any sword direction.

Actually, I have a scripting idea for a general "no turning the sword" challenge box that lets you start with any direction, but stops you from turning the sword after you enter.

The particular room in Doom's hold does not force any specific sword position. You are provided with eight mimic areas corresponding to all eight directions, so you still need to figure out what direction must be used in order to complete the room.

Yeah, I just realised that on my playthrough. The arrows make it fair.
