Finding the First Truth : Exit Level : 5 South (+1)

I'm not understanding what to do with the roach. I can avoid the yellow PPs and activate the light-green ones at 18,11 and 27,9 but there's no apparent way to get the roach further south, due to briar blocking the lowest tunnel.
