×I place one decoy on the northwest pressure plate. You know, 'cause why not? Can't see a use for the other. (Is this what I'm missing?) I can cut off the western root by stepping on one of the plates under the diagonal arrows, shutting a gate on that puppy. I can then strike the top and bottom orbs to open the passageway to the exit. Of course this is all pointless because that passage is blocked by the briar remnant. And of course the really useful pressure plates, at the far north and far south that would open up the north eastern scripted gate, can't have decoys placed on them because of the arrows, nor can I step on them without blocking myself in. If only the mimic potion wasn't destroyed right away by the briar. Or if I could get briar to grow south, instead of north, it might trigger that far south plate in time for me to get out. But the pressure plate that opens the gate south of the eastern briar is the same pressure plate I need that briar to hit.

×It's possible to open doors in such a way that Beethro can pass through, but growing briar can not.

×there is actually a way to use the mimic at the top left plate on the first passing through. Could it be that I stumbled upon an Unintended Solution?

×That's not what the mimic is for. (You can use it to activate the plate at (8, 4), but it's unnecessary.)
