If I'm correct, the only way to make a roach go over the arrow is if it acts unbrained. And the only way to do this is by blocking off each square which brings it closer to Beethro. So I figured I need to have Beethro at 4, with the sword at 2, the roach at 3 and dead golem at 1. This way, the roach will move onto the arrow (I think)

If this is correct (although it probably isn't), then how to I get the golem to 1? It always hugs the inner wall.

Well, I don't get what your problem is. The room is perfectly solvable from position on the screenshot.

×Yes, it is. You should turn your sword NW, though. Then wait for aumtlich and roach to get to same positions again(it takes them 4 turns I think), and you can move away from force arrow you're standing on.

Still not sure I'm getting anywhere (roach races ahead of the aumtlich too quickly) What position should I be aiming for? TIA
