Beethro's Mission: Spiders : Fourth Level : 2 South, 3 West (0)

How can I guide the WW to the snake area?
I have tried to position a golem in a 16.18, 17.18, 17.19 and 18.19 square, but I'm unable to kill them once I get them there. As I'm trying to back in to the orb chamber, one golem always stays out of reach. Am I on the right track?
