1, and 6(and, although 7th and 2nd are right, they have very little to do with the solution; also 3rd isn't neccessary to do)

Yes, I just worked out that way; your original suggestion didn't work at all. In fact, I did it the other way round, swapping the mirrors, but the same outcome.
