I thought I was getting better at backswiping and angles and such, but I find myself instantly swamped in this room -- the roaches converge too quickly, from too many directions. May I request a hint or two of the right plan of attack (or defense)? Thanks.

Trust yourself! Backswiping and angles and such is not the solution to this room.

And indeed, I did eventually hit on that, with the further element of I probably should have come back and deleted this inquiry. But I do thank you for the kind response. I've finished The Spiral now.
