I've accumulated enough rooms, so I thought I'd polish them up, and lovingly craft them into a beautiful and entertaining new hold.

Then I thought, nah, I'll just do this instead. :)

Testing requested. A few minor things (e.g. level entrance text) are not finished.

This hold has good puzzles. Being a not-so-amazing player, I shall point out some potentially unintentional solutions that made some rooms especially easy. Or, at least, easier than the other rooms.

If I end up solving any more of these puzzles, I will comment on them. For now, however, I must conclude my post here. Overall, I enjoyed both the satisfaction from solving what puzzles I could as well as the sheer ingenuity of all the puzzles, personally solvable or otherwise. I support the publishing of this hold when it is ready. :yes

My testing is pretty much worthless, because I don't have the new patch. But I do enjoy BoyBlue holds, and I did find one unintended solution.

I started with Level 1.

Mastered!

(I guess I can't really say "postmastered" unless that master door gets moved away from the room edges.)

I didn't see anything new that csr and mxvladi did not mention.
The variety of puzzles is really adding to the challenge and the interest of the hold. We are getting more "uniform" holds lately.
So far I'm in level 3, stuck on 4W. Guard is too smart for me :(

I am totally stuck in first level secret room. My last room in the hold and I cannot figure how to kill SW eye. I would like to comment this hold but before that I really need some help here. :wavecry:

Well, you wake it up and lure it out of the oremite area, of course! :P

It would probably be more helpful if I answered the question, when you should wake it up.

Updated with some minor fixes (beta02). I'll try to get a completed hold ready soon.

L1 2N - Fixed unintended solution.
L2 secret - Reduced playing area.
L3 secret - Clumsily fixed unintended solutions.
(I know the above two rooms are nothing special. I still might replace them. But probably not.)
L3 4W - Removed one row of orbs, and moved checkpoints.

I looked at the new version.

I see that we can now 1-move all the Entrance rooms, which is convenient.

Level 1 2N is fixed - now Beethro has to remain swordless. It's still pretty easy though.

Level 2 2N2W seems about the same as before. It's not a bad room, but doesn't make me think outside the box, as some BoyBlue secret rooms do.

Level 3 4W is better without so many orbs.

Level 3 1N5W is fixed.

I think it would be worth fixing Level 4 1N1E as well, or at least enforcing the intended solution in a secret version of the room. The room is kind of bulky for the tar baby solution, and I think the intended solution (while tricky!) is much more interesting. Perhaps a force arrow trap, or a combination of force arrows and oremites, could be used to prevent the player from killing any tar babies used to block aumtlich beams.

L1 2N - This time I tried intended way and succeeded quickly.

Secret rooms you repaired are better, but still bugs me the fact that 1L secret room is similar to 1W and 2L secret room is similar to 2N1W while 3L and 4L secret rooms aren’t similar to any rooms in their levels. So if you make a secret version of the room 1N1E in L4 like CSR suggested than it would make sense that you make different 3L secret room (similar with the existing room in the level) as well; and of course leave out current 4L secret room. Or just make every secret room different from existing ones in the hold.
Now don’t be lazy and get to work. I have a feeling that this hold will be a HIT :punk , but it needs little more polishing.
Oh yeah, thanks for removing that one row. Bless ya!

Updated to beta03. I think it's pretty much done.

Changes:
- L1 1N1W: Fixed so you have to release all the wubbas.
- L4 1N1E: Attempted to patch up this room.
- L4 2N1W: Changed the position of the adders, but the puzzle is unchanged.
- Added a master area.
- No longer anyone-edit.
- Added level introductory text, etc.
- Additional level entrances for when you return from a previous level.

Note that these rooms in particular are known/intended to have multiple solutions:
L1 3W (very easy if you happen to choose the right way to cut the tar, but it's not obvious what that is.)
L1 1S1E
L3 1E (I knew you could use the decoys, but decided to leave it.)
L3 1N5W

Once again, unintended solution for L4 1N1E. You will have a lot of trouble if you want us to do it INTENDED WAY! :D

I submitted the hold for publication. I think L4-1N1E is the only room changed since beta03.

My thanks to those who've helped to test it. (I know I didn't fix all its warts, but I'll take the blame for that.)
