Really nice recreation.
I think there are some backtracking issues in 4S6E, 2S3E.
The green doors north in 2S4S, east of 4S2E does not go anywhere. disappointing after mastering.
Some rooms are really easy, others hard (6S2E). Overall it's a good variety and I enjoyed it.

i could actually make this beyond the thirty rooms but that will go into chapter 17.
i wish admins would give publishing somewhat less red tape the process is long and new level entry rate has somewhat dropped

Evidently Banjooie can't do reading comprehension, so let me spell it out: War holds are full of random scripting and pointlessness. If they take longer for the HAs to test, it's because khaim has tossed in a bunch of crap to make it take longer.

War holds suck.

Oh man, you got me. I am so jealous that my compilation of other people's contest entries* got rated so low. Surely it has nothing to do with that contest having a lot of entries that weren't fun to play or even well made.

But you know, I totally agree. No one has a right to criticize unless they are better at doing whatever it is, from DROD holds to baking. If you go to a nice restaurant and your black tie mousse cake isn't delicious and moist, you'd better hold your tongue unless you can get in there and show the chef how it's done-- wait, what's this?

My argument is, in its entirety, that I find war holds to be frankly a gigantic fun time, and Tim's argument is, albeit with unnecessary comparison, that I am not the only person that holds this view.

PS: Making a playable hold out of something drawn by a what, four year old? Is pretty hard.

Khaim & all,

Sorry we seem to be sort of derailing this thread.

First of all, people may create any hold they want.
Secondly, people can express their opinions on holds as they please.

I'd say that at times people work on holds that in my opinion are very bad. They seem to just have things thrown in rooms randomly. I have enjoyed most of the war holds. Thanks Khaim. I hope you keep up the good work. (Unfortunately I don't appreciate the vulgar language often found in these holds.)

Hi khaim,

I'm playing your hold on the HA board, but I've got a comment that seems more appropriate to your architecture thread.

The level in this hold is called "the tab level," which makes me think that the theme will be solving puzzles by switching back and forth between clones. There are surprisingly few puzzles where I have to do this. I looked in the editor and found a whole bunch of unused level entrances strewn throughout the rooms. In the editor, level entrances look almost exactly like clones. Did you accidentally put the level entrances where you meant to put clones?

Even though this hold is in HA now, you are welcome to fix it, if you want.

the entrances became redundent, once i decided to make it one incremental run. true only few rooms use clones, i mention tab key since i only found out the use of clones recently :? :glasses

Well, I just finished playing through the version in this architecture thread and I'd say it is on par with your other War holds- which means I enjoyed it.
