this one beats me
i think the basic idea is to get the snake up to the roach.

to do so, i either have to
1.) have the snake behind me while the "plant" (whats the correct term, btw?) presses the plate and opens the door in the right moment, or
2.) have the snake stuck in front of aforesaid door, while im waiting behind it for the plant pressing the plate, or
3.) having the mud pressing the plate, but the plant grows to fast. removing of the trapdoors slows the growth, but not enough.

any ideas?

Those plants are called briars.

Indeed, briar grows quite fast! But you can stop it for a short while!
