Yeah, but Je Speculate just doesn't work.

>> I'm not sure whether "snarky PM" should parse as "snarky comment to a newcomer" or "mean private message".

Ah, sorry about that, I definitely meant one of the two, but as the KotE has already informed us of Maurog's impending refutation, we should ask him which of the two he used to determine that Maurog could refute (KotE: I think the best thing would be for you to just list the guess as you read it with no information about whether the clarification matters or not)

The rules as stated by zex don't allow for an accusation. Instead, it's merely an unrefuted guess that wins the game. (This also means that there's no mechanism for an out-of-turn win. We will see if this matters.)

Josh

I have refuted the claim that Jatopian killed Mr. Forum with a mean private message in Forum Games board.

Also, I suspect jbluestein killed Mr. Forum with spam overload in RPG feature requests board.

As it turns out, I am next in line and have refuted this guess.

I am pretty sure that it was that rascal stigant who used Heavy Trolling in the Contests board to kill Mr. Forum.

Carry on, Noma.

Missed a spot, I know, but jbluestein made it clear that he was next in line.

I have refuted via PM jbluestein's guess that it was stigant who used Heavy Trolling in the Contests boards.

I know it's my turn next, but I won't have a chance to work out my guess till later today.

Hmm... could it have been Maurog on the Holds board with a snarky comment to a newcomer?

Hey everyone. I'm getting close to finals and have a quite a bit of work to do, so I'm going to have to pull out of the game. What should I do with my information?

Sounds like we need to get a replacement, but I imagine that it's up to zex.

Josh

Or if we can't find one, KotE could take care of any refuting that Snacko would have done, and we can just skip Snacko's turn in the guessing order.

Open invite, then for a Snacko replacement. Otherwise, we'll treat it as though Snacko passes his turn. We'll let Snacko have one more guess within 24 hours, unless he notifies that he is stopping play immediately. Either way, after either notification or 24 hours, Jatopian can have a legit guess.

So, will Snacko still be the suspect, or has he magically transformed into Mr. Fishman?

Josh

Obviously, Snacko is now Snacko Fishman. Problem solved, both flawlessly and consistently! :P

For practicality, let's say that Snacko has also been killed by the killer of Mr. Forum (note that it may be suicide) and DanielFishman is from the police to aid investigation. Snacko is still the suspect.

Quick! Stop him before he kills again!

(Especially if the killer was Snacko, since who wants a zombie Snacko shambling about?)

So I guess it's Fishman's turn, then?

Josh

I am assuming that zex would have sent it to him when he gave him 24 hours to make his guess. But only zex and DanielFishman can say for sure...
