Hi,

I'm stuck, stuck, stuck. I've explored every which way, again and again and now need help, if poss.

I've done the row of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th south rooms.

I'm in 5 south 1 east and although I can rid the snakes and drop the trapdoors I then can't get out !!

I've read all the existing help on this level and all are mentioning the slayer that you need to get out of this room BUT he isn't there with me. What have I missed ?

Hi fitpooh --

In general, it's still best to post in one of the H&S threads about a particular room if you're stuck.

However...if the Slayer isn't showing up in that room with you, then I worry that you may have encountered some sort of bug, as you really do need the Slayer in order to complete the room. You may wish to restore to an earlier point in the game and see whether you can make him appear.

If I remember correctly, level 8 of JtRH has some strange properties. And there is no bug in that level unless you've downloaded an illegal version
