I'm not sure what you see and where, but it sounds like a glitch. Regardless, Taliesin has some connection with the place that he never gives a straight answer about.

Third, I need some hints concerning the girdle quest.

Which note are you talking about, there are several. The item you're looking for is the sign present in the jeweler's store, which you can take. The crucial step you're missing is (e), this step is actually possible. After (g), Ruadh can nevertheless be persuaded to do it one more time.

in one of the 5 endings the bard tells of his suspicions that you are trapped in the fairy realm, and how would he know that? Because he saw you enter the magical floating door that's what!

Or, it could be because he himself some a bit of fey in him... though it wouldn't be readily apparent via his eyes, but he does have that look about him.

Or perhaps he was a changling, but since he's been in the mortal realm for so long that the "fairy-ness" has mostly worn off, hence no eye-sparkle...?
