This is the level design challenge for August. The idea behind this contest is as follows: Parity. We're back in ST1 this month with a puzzle involving barriers. You may not place more blue or pink barriers than are already in the template. Adding switches is, of course, perfectly fine.

You can download the levels here: http://crystalshard.net/test/August.zip

Please vote for the level you like best. Participants may vote (because turnout would be a lot lower otherwise also it's not like we can stop them or anything); however, I'd appreciate it if everybody did not simply vote for themselves :)

Thanks to everyone who participated!

Thanks Wonkyth! :D I really appreciate that.

For me, the decision was easy. I have a really hard time enjoying levels like Rock Port, so I voted for Code Factor Zero.

I liked both the other submissions this month. Both were pretty good, but overall I liked Jeff Ray's level just a bit more. I may not be in the puzzle solving mindset anymore, but B.J.'s level felt lacking in direction, whereas Jeff's felt simple and very straight forward.

I had a bit of a tough time deciding between Danjen's and B.J. Earles's levels. Jeff Ray's level, though interesting, is a bit simplistic. In the end, however, I went with Danjen.

Er, I think the poll may have glitched. It currently says each submission has 2 votes, with a total of 7 votes.

Also: 3-way tie!

Yeah, people can view the results without voting, which forfeits your right to vote and essentially counts as a blank vote.

Yep, it's one of those automatic timeouts. So that means everybody's a winner this month, yay!

Well, I would have voted (breaking the tie) if I'd shown up sooner...
