And, well...Blondbeard's demo is a good bit better than mind. Some of that may just be my general lack of optimization, but I'm betting that his method is more efficient.

I guess my method can just let people know that you don't have to be hyper-efficient to beat this room.

It's a relief that jbluestein found an easy unintended solution to this room, because the intended solution might be too frustrating.
Didn't watch Blondbeard's demo, but it doesn't really sound like our way either.

Now I have to go back and figure out how to do it the 'right' way. I couldn't figure out a fast way to move two platforms at once, which was part of the problem...guess I will have to think more about that.

Finally found a room that I need to ask for help with (not that I haven't made copious use of _other's_ requests for help).

I can't seem to get close to solving this room with any of the three methods above. jbluestein's says to kill the Tar Mothers with my sword, but I can't get to them without the adders; Blondbeard says to release the adders early, but I can't seem to make the second one go were I want it to and am still running out of time anyway; and the intended solution sounds like its the most different and requires some platform moving trick I don't see.

Any advice?

Well, if you really want to watch disoriented's demo, you can always copy your TCB progress to GaTEB(I assume that his demo is made with 4.0/GaTEB engine).

Meanwhile, have a demo made in 3.0 engine.

EDIT: ok, that's odd - disoriented's demo got imported perfectly in 3.0 here. Do you have the latest TCB patch(can be found here)? If you do, then it's very odd DROD complains about "newer version"...
