Hi there.
I've got a question. I made NPC Guard with sword. He moves towards player. But:

G - Guard, P - Player, | and / - swords

++++++ 1. When our swords are at the same tile,
+++G++ Guard tries to get past it, then he turns
+++ | ++ his sword cw or ccw (then the situation
+++P++ looks like in pic 2.)
++++++

++++++ 2. Then I want to stab him, but when I go
+++G++ north and "stab" him, he immediately kills me.
++ / | ++ To check this, just make NPC (very high ATK and Omni movement)
+++P++ with sword and make him chase the player.
++++++ (Player must have sword, too)

So, how to make the NPC moving after the player? Because now the only way to kill him is to stab him from behind.

If you make the npc command Move To Player, it will be unable to execute any script until it is at the player's location, meaning if it's an aggressive NPC it will attack the player.

Now for your problem, I think it's because he has very high attack that he insta kills you, unless I misunderstood the problem.

You misunderstood, and there is no problem. It's just a built-in gameplay rule that may be confusing for those used to the other DROD games. If you attack a sworded enemy and in the same turn he can turn his sword onto the tile where you now are, he gets first hit. To avoid this, dodge around him until you get a chance to attack him with his sword pointed at 90 degrees to your position. Nobard's Hold has a series of "guard training" rooms based around this idea, including one in which you are fighting four moving sworded enemies simultaneously. :D

Bahavior Attack last doesn't work...
Okay, thanks for replies. And yes, Nuntar understood the problem, but Fang didn't ;p

Attack Last is for making the start of combat act as if you have sword even if you don't. If you use it for monsters. Monster's swords simply do damage independantly. Try attacking a sworded monster unarmed from the loction of its sword.

Ah well, sorry to not have been of help.
I didn't even know if a sworded monster turns to face you on the same turn you attack him, it gets first hit.
