Can't exit -- there is no adjoining room in this direction.
The arrow in 1E can be bypassed very easily (from the right: 7, 1.)
And if you aren't building any more after this room, I'd say it'd be polite to put a scroll in the next room (and make it) saying "you've completed what's built so far".
