1. The .exe for the latest build of SubTerra One has the Description, Product Name, and Product Version of SubTerra II ("Subterra II", "Subterra II", 1.3).

2. Could you maybe trap the mouse pointer from leaving the top of the windowed version without a small but decent velocity, because it's easy to get lost in that toolbar, and you don't even know when it happens.

I'm afraid not. Windows doesn't like third parties controlling the mouse cursor (and come to think of it, many users seem to not like it either).

Hm. That reminds me - in a way earlier version of ST, wasn't there a multiplayer version?

There still is. You can make a level with two characters, who can be controlled separately.

No, I'm pretty sure there was something else. One of the modes was like a Tron clone, where you had to move your players around, and the trail you left behind looked like a cloner.

I vaguely remember this, but it's entirely possible I'm thinking of something else...

Ah yes, the bonus games. Those were in SubTerra 1.0, and never implemented in 2.0 (which uses an entirely new kernel)

As Radiant said, it used a different kernel. Methinks that if you can't get it to run, then your computer is incompatible with said kernel. Not sure how to fix this, however.

Oh, and

3) On both computers I've tried, Sub Terra v2.5 runs at almost 2x speed if I test a level in the editor while zoomed out. If I zoom back in before pressing T, the game runs normal speed.


Poor Radiant just can't escape from the speed glitches...

As far as I know, Vector Vendetta is still safe from temporal issues.
