http://superv.vladh.net/retrorun/scores.php for the scores

Quite simple. Move with left/right arrows.

Collect blue and green, avoid red.

Difficulty gets harder over time.

Endurance mode : you get score over time, and difficulty is harder. No bonus score powerups!

Hmm. This is quite a nice arcade-like game. I especially like the twist (or should that be sine wave?) on the side-scrolling theme; it definitely makes the game spatially challenging. I also like the game's simplicity as it is engaging, but yet doesn't require large amounts of time to play.

However, I don't really like the music. While it is definitely retro and does remind me of the intro music one might get on, say cracked Amiga floppies, it gets annoying really quickly. Maybe someone here could help you find (or compose for you) an alternative.

Although the explosion special effects are quite cool, would it be possible to reduce the number of particles created? Having so many things bouncing around on the screen makes my eyes dizzy after a while.

Finally, is there a button to restart the game if you crash? I can't seem to restart it without closing and reopening the application.

Otherwise, it's quite a fun, little game. Have you considered making a shooting-type mode but with forced wave motion?

Thanks for the reply. It's always nice to recieve criticism from players :D

Let's start with this : no shooting. I don't want to make the concept more complex - just dodge the evil blocks and get the good ones.

You can restart the current level with R or go back to the menu with M. This information is displayed in the top part of the screen at the start of a level.

Particles are awesome, but there are many of those. I like to have the screen full of particles, but I will probably add an .ini or something to decrease/increase the particles.

I like the music. It's "keygen music", "chiptune music". If you have good alternatives I will probably implement them. I'm using this kind of music because I like the style and it weighs a few KBs.

Eh? Oh. So it is. I must be playing too much DROD! Ahem.

Although in windowed mode, I find the text to be very small, so perhaps it could be a bit bigger?

Heh. I'm sorry, I don't have any alternatives, especially not with the small size argument. I guess it's actually the quantization noize rather than the music per se that I don't like.

But really, it's definitely a cool game; I didn't mean to sound harsh in my criticism. Please do continue to improve it; I'm intrigued to see how it develops!
