Well, I have never ever played the game, but the axe seems to be thrown object, and unless the physics engine is made specifically that way (which is plausible, but I'm assuming now that it isn't), it would be impossible for the bottom axe to be in that position.

Well, its none of the weapons, since I can put each of those in exactly the same places as the screenshot (would need a much slower computer, as I saw in a let's play, to get the timing right and to have time to take the screenshot, but its definitely possible. The voodoo mask is in the right place, the player is in the right place, the walls are all in the right place, the score and time and everything at the top is in the right place.. the title bar is in the right place.

All I can imagine is that its meant to be impossible to have those 3 weapons in those 3 places at the same time? But someone already basically said this earlier in the thread, and I'm sure its possible anyway; I've had them in very near vicinities..

Oh well, I'm obviously missing something else, so I'll let someone else figure it out :(

Is it that for the weapons to be where they are, the weapon button (the button in the top-right corner) cannot show the axe but must show the spear?

Okay, maybe I screwed up this altered screenshot, but I will only believe it when I see it done with a slower computer.

Technically, while you can throw a spear into the spot it shows, you must be much closer to the right edge, and you can't walk left fast enough to be in the spot shown. It's impossible, at least in normal conditions.

If you jump and fire the spear from the top of your jump, you land before it reaches the wall. Two axes fired off at the right time *should* make that screenie possible.

The spear goes in an arc. There is no way you can throw the spear to be that high and land in the left half of the screen. Try it yourself.

Upon some trials.. I accept that it would most likely have to come from an altered screenshot, as it is extremely tricky to do. I still feel that on a slow computer like on the Let's Play I saw, it would be possible. Minus the axes, I got this close (would require one tap of the right arrow to get him facing the right way, but I spent that tap pushing alt-printscreen instead):



Of course, doing that AND timing the axes right *might* be impossible. But.

The timestamp of TripleM's post says 10:25 AM while the screenshot says the same post was made at 10:25 PM.

Considering TripleM is in New Zealand (see profile), it's not so strange. Remember, we see post timestamps as to when it was posted in our time zone. But since his pic was taken from his computer, it's not so odd that his shows 10:25 PM (22:25).

What is odd is that TripleM is in time zone +13 GMT according to this post. I'm in -5 GMT. My timestamp shows the post was made at 05:25. Which means that if this post was made at 05:25 my time, it would have been 23:25 on TripleM's time. If this is right, then Nuntar and Briareos are correct that the time stamp was altered, just not about why.

(Although I think Maurog got the first correct answer.)

TripleM couldn't have posted that image (with time stamp of 10:25) without first making the post that contains it (timestamp 10:25). Since the post is not edited, he did not take the screenshot after the fact and the shot must be edited..

However, if that is the alteration that he intended, I'll point out that his screenshot is entirely possible. He could have posted, captured a screenshot, deleted his post, and reposted within the same minute.

Yeah, Tim and RoboBob have it. I knew there was a tiny chance of being able to post, screenshot, delete, resize screenshot, attach, post in one minute, but for me, doing that in one minute is close enough to impossible.
