Oh, I'm in, definitely.

Edit: Is there a theme or is it the normal setting with just an unusual setup?

I might adopt a theme to it, if I can't choose 'Normal boring life until someone gets murdered'. :P
Edit: On second thought, it's going to involve the internet in some way, and completely, if I just get the 'killing over a forum or something' part worked out.
Ediit: Wait, who says it has to be killing? Maybe it's some obnoxious admins. Yeah, that would work.

Sorry, didn't notice you. :(

Edit: Also, because of your concern, roleclaiming gets you a free modkill. never mind.

Now why's that? People can lie about roleclaims. Even more so because it's a closed setup.

Oh yeah, roleclaiming is a huge part of the game, you can't remove that. The whole game (for the doctor + cops) is about revealing yourself at the right time, or for the Mafia perhaps lying at the right time. Having the two cops instantly roleclaim where they could never be lying removes all that strategy :)

Which wasn't the case. There are more than two mafia. It just made it riskier. And in case you didn't notice, the mafia won despite a presumed imbalance. Still, I should have come up with a different power role.

I'll play again.

Maybe after this round is completed I'll dust off DROD Survivor. Now there's a game.

If they were lying, the real cop + sheriff come out immediately and we have guaranteed 2 mafia down after 4 nights :) That would just be plain dumb.

(Oh, by the way, not trying to imply you did a bad job or anything, you did excellent :) As Robobob said earlier, it's the game thats a little flawed at times).

And DROD Survivor was one of the best forum games yet, so thumbs up to that.

I'll play as well. And I'll also try to be more involved, though there really wasn't that much I could say in the first game.

Hmm... to play or not to play? I think I'll just give that a shot, even though I suck at strategy.

Also... chances are (even though they are slim) that I might not be here for a while... just saying.

Also, for the sake of bandwidth saving, could the rounds be done in one topic? Just asking.

It'd get cluttered easily. :|
Unrelated to quote: Also, I already have the introduction set up, and I'm working on the roles people will be taking. Yay! :smile

Anyway, we almost have enough for a large! Sign up in 47 minutes or you're not playing! Game started early.

Since we're playing with an as-yet undetermined ruleset, Monkey, how would you feel if I removed myself from this game and acted as an advisor of sorts?

I was thinking that you could run your rule ideas by me and I could give you some feedback before things got started, and help make sure that the game was balanced and such.

If you'd like to have such assistance, let me know and I'll be glad to provide it. Otherwise, I'll play.

Nah. Experimental, remember? :)
Also, when that timers hits None, the game will begin. Or before then, if I get it going earlier.

Okay, just remember that mixing all the chemicals together does not an experiment make.

Either way, I have two hours. I can find a way to mix it up a little (or hopefully a lot).
No spoilers for you! :( Okay, maybe a little.
Edit: Just got a neat idea, but it'll require a temporary account... or not.
Ediit: Roles set up, now to screw up the game a little.
Ediiit: Moved the clock up 15 minutes for starting description.
