Thanks I was quite thick actually, problem was I was trying to use the baby in a too-clever way , instead of the obvious easy one ...

I make the baby there and still can't prevent the tar from building to the right. I, also, end up with a whole familiy of babies. I am completely in the dark as to what to do with that baby.

Well, you're supposed to spawn one and only one baby in the entire room.

(NB: I hope you don't mind me asking this, but could you please not delete the outermost "[quote]<so-and-so> wrote:" line at the top when you quote a post? That would make discerning the post you quoted from what you wrote much easier... )

Anyway - if you immediately close the door at point 6 when a baby spawns there the tar can grow all it wants without creating any more babies; see the following image:

I did have a mental block. Your pic told it all. I have no idea why I thought I had to have the tar continue to grow down to the snake, but that is what I was trying to do. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways both with that tar and with the quotes.

Way, way, back in time I had been punished for allowing "triple quotes". I thought that by 'cleaning' up my posts, I was doing good. That thinking was as bad as my thinking on this room. Both lessons well taken and learned. Thanks again.
