This is something I quickly put together. By bumping into an obstacle you can switch between three characters, each with seperate attack, defence, health, and items (keys, greckles, and reputation are shared though).

Feel free to use and modify my script as much as you like.

No fair! I was going to make this, but you did it first... too bad.

Zex: It's because there are no power ups. Maybe it would be helpful to provide a few differences and 'test' rooms.

Nice. Very nice. I modified it so the wizard generates game effects, the Fighter is Beethro, the Assassin is a Slayer, etc.
