I'm fully aware that Tendry's Tale has an Undo button, but it might be slightly worthwhile (though hardly necessary) to include a Redo button as well.
Just a thought... :)

As long as redo bumps you forward less moves than undo bumps you back.

well, on systems where ^Z is undo, ^Y is often redo. any good reason not to make ^Y redo in general? (I mean, you need to hit it less often than undo, which is why undo is backspace. though I wouldn't mind ^Z being aliased to also be undo)

How about holding down control and pressing the undo key? At least that's what's already used for other key combinations...

np: Pivot - Sweet Memory (O Soundtrack My Heart)

Not under the RPG... the paradigm for Control there is running... Control-undo there would essentially be the same as reseting the room to when you entered (already available as 'r'). Even under regular DROD, a Control-undo that matched the other combinations would be expected to be undo then redo (putting you back where you were).

Overall, I don't care what key is used... I've already mapped undo to 'e' so I'd almost certainly remap redo as well. Because I've always had it that way since undo was introduced, I really can't make a suggestion for it that would be fair for standard set users.
