Hi.
I have a question.
Is it possible to give own tiles to the sword (like in characters)?
If yes, please explain how :rolleyes

The same way as you do it with characters - using custom tiles!

EDIT: Hm, what bad thing did I say?
There's an idiot user on this board who is modding down short helpful posts. I'm calling that person an idiot because he clearly hasn't seen that the longer explanation of the answers be found clearly in the help files.

Don't worry about him.

Anyway, yeah, if you want more detail: (note that this may be incorrect, and if you press F1 in the editor, you can poke around in the help to figure things out)

Custom swords, AFAIK, can use two rows:
First, the item's icon. This is just a single image, that will be stretched to fit. This also applies to armor and accessories.
Second, the 8 sword directions, like with any sworded custom character.

I'm really wondering why you're replying to his question. I've just tried that out, and what you wrote is really incorrect.

EDIT: I have an idea how it works, but I'm not going to answer until I'm certain of it.

Actually, you just provide the sword rotations. The north one is the one used for the image (I believe).
Or maybe it was the northeast.

This is a working example that I've made, but I forgot to take of anti-aliasing off when I copied and pasted. :P

I'm not sure that you need the final NE sprite, but it's on a single row. Each direction is 44x44 pixels, starting N going clockwise, transparent colour is FF00FF.

Hey, originally it was meant to be a mop, but I couldn't be bothered to taper it end so I turned it into a broom. I might work a plunger into my hold tho... :)

Also made a better stock sheet - Screwdriver. Meant to be a sword... hmmm...

At first glance, I thought you had typed the word "poo," not "goo." :)
