In editor, when you put a command "Set var _Sword = ..." and at "..." you put a number of swords + 1 (it's weapon slot) (in demo this number is 10, I don't know what is this number in full version), player will carry short sword, but when you will look at HUD, then you will see, that your weapon is "Weapon Slot" ;)
The same thing happens with shield (6 in demo) and accesory (12 in demo) :)

Not a bug. You've set _Sword to an invalid value, so DROD RPG makes as much sense of it as you can. The only values you should use are 0 to 9 for normal swords, and 20000+ (depending on the custom character ID) for custom swords.

And as for what the numbers are in the full version, they're the same. Any custom hold can be played or built with the demo.

I'd suggest you not to use any invalid numbers.

In a later version of RPG (if there is going to be one), they can probably be used as new weapons. You don't want your hold to be incompatible with newer versions, do you?

Disclaimer: I'm not part of Caravel, so this is pure speculation, but this sound like sound design.

In light of what Tim says, perhaps there should be some sort of 'Hey! That's not a sword!' indicator, though I don't exactly know how this would be implemented.
