Well, I don't know, maybe it's a bug, but it looks like feauture, too.

Currently, if you make custom waterskipper/seep role and do the following script:

The waterskipper monster will move out of water(!), and the seep role - out of wall(!!!) i.e. They'll continue chasing player on the normal floor(while they're not supposed to do it).

Well, I understand that there're no holds that use "Move to player" function for RPG monsters, but I think this should be fixed.
(if it looks more a bug than the feauture, please, somebody from admins, move this topic in "Bugs" board.)

Apparently the Geozoologists of the Empire have finally managed to develop agoric movement in seep. We are so doomed. :-O
