Is there a way to make a character hurt enemies (by fighting) instead of the player?
When I set the item defense multiplicator to 5, defense gems will do nothing (+0 DEF). Is that correct? (More questions later)

I don't know 1, but I can with 2.
The multiplier is a percentage. For example, 5 would be 5%. I assume you want it to give you 5 DEF, so you would set it to 500, which translates into 500%.

Thanks, that worked.

If it helps: I asked question 1 in order to make a projectile weapon which can damage enemies from distance. If there is a way besides a "projectile NPC" that damages the enemy, please tell me. Any idea for making ranged weapons which dosen't include ultracomplex scripts is welcome.
