I see the message about getting the door to close when I'm on it. But I don't see how I can make that situation occur. After I walk past the red door, it's immediately closed and I can't get back on top of it. I've got no sword at this point.

yeah, this bit is a bit ambiguous. Your supposed to stand in front of the door and hit 0. Interesting feature, no?

It's also possible to do with the "lock" command.

I agree that it would be an appropriate moment to introduce the feature there.

They just don't tell you the most vital bit, which is to hit 0.

They do tell you to Lock the door (with a capital letter). Remember those eight buttons next to Tendry's image (with the save, load, command etc.)? There is also a conveniently placed button which says "Lock".

Except for those of us that have mouse movement turned off - that also removes those buttons.

Maybe it should keep the non-movement buttons? I think would be "Lock" and "Special Command" (or whatever that's called)...

I always thought that was room lock for some reason.
