Tendry's Tale : Rule levels in general (0)

Can return to the "Rule X" levels after ascending to the surface? There seems to be a lot of items/enemies/secrets that I can't get/beat/find if I just walk through the first time.

Nope. The game is split in two halfs and you can't go back.

The first half is a lot bigger than I thought, that's for sure.
