This is a good idea. I'll add this option to a patch.

I'll make a note here that this option would also disable rotation via mouse wheel.

And, while disabled, left mouse button would function as the right button does.

How about moving Tendro Beethry You-Know-Who with the middle mouse button? That way you can perform all movement with the mouse wheel, which I tend to click a lot less by accident than the other two...

Or better yet, make the mouse buttons configurable just like the keys...

EDIT: Also - could you perhaps disable left-click moving while a different room is shown via the map? If you click somewhere trying to dismiss the room you probably don't intend to move anywhere...
