Shouldn't we really consider adding a prefix to all file extensions used by DROD? Like "
.DRODhold"
, "
.DRODroom"
etc.?
Because if DROD RPG keeps using the same file extensions you'll have a hard time telling DROD and DROD RPG files apart, and it's not "
just"
a matter of upgrading to the latest version like when trying to import TCB holds into JtRH...
And, let's face it, while "
.hold"
is quite a unique, DROD specific file extension for a set of levels "
.level"
for a single one really isn't - I bet there's other games out there that already use "
.level"
...
(And it's not as if there was a low limit to the possible length of file extensions in this day and age like in the dark DOS ages...)
