I am looking for a place to put my web page. Does anyone know of a place that does free web hosting that is decent? I can't find one that doesn't have a terrible limit on the amount of items to put on it, or the number of hits it can get. Any suggestions?

I haven't checked the site out myself, but it's a place you may want to look. Alternatively, you could do what I do, and become friends with someone who hosts websites

Freewebs is okay, but uploading one file at a time using a slow-loading HTTP form sucks. I personally think Web1000(.com) is better; you only get 50MB, but you have unlimited transfers and it uses FTP for uploading, which is much more flexible, especially if you get a frontend like SmartFTP. You also get to have your own root-level domain name. For instance, the web site addresses you would get with:

Freewebs: http://www.freewebs.com/whateveryouwant
Web1000: http://whateveryouwant.web1000.com
