Thanks for the help in previous levels. This is my last room for L3 & it's driving me crazzzzy!. I know the route for the mimic to take but...my route out gets blocked. HintS please.

Just be very, very careful. You just have to cut the tar the right way and make sure there aren't inaccessible tar babies.

Sorry to sound ungrateful for the reply but I figured that out after 5 minutes. I've reached the conclusion that there is only one way to solve this room. I'm past the trial & error and it's not fun anymore. I need a complete spoiler or a demo.

Don't worry about sounding ungrateful, that wasn't a very helpful response. Unfortunately, as my demos are all corrupted, I can't be too much more helpful. I think that the tough part of this room was that you have no margin for error. Thus, you may need to enter the room with your sword pointing exactly the right direction. Also, taking advantage of the fact that if Beethro moves diagonally to "slide" the mimic along the walls could also be very useful (in addition to enabling an escape route).

If no one else has helped further by tomorrow, and you still need help, I will attempt to either get a demo or have better instructions for you.

Edit: doh, lots of responses before I finished posting. Well, looks like you're taken care of.

I've copied this demo onto my hard disk, gone to the room, pressed F6 and imported it. A message comes up saying 'successfully imported', but nothing appears.

Please can anyone help? I'm getting really frustrated with both this room, and the demo I can't see!!!

Are you in the room of the demo? It may seem like an obvious question, but you can only watch the demo in the room that it's taken in.

Perhaps not clear enough..

Go to the correct room. Press F6
Choose "Import" and import the file.
Now, I'm not sure... you may be returned to the normal game screen after importing, in which case you need to press F6 from within the correct room again.
Now the demo will be listed in the big column on the left, at the top. Click on it, then press Watch.
