This is one of the toughest rooms in the game. You won\'t have to worry about anything like this again for several levels.

I assume that by the first tar mother you mean the NW one. Note there is a checkpoint near each tar mother. Avoid two-square wide passages. Count turns after each growth and when you get to about 25 move to a safe spot to hide in as the tar grows.

There is no other help you can really give on this room.

Bah, been poking at this one for ages.. Only bottom right tar mother left.. I'm at the bottm left checkpoint.. And every time I try and get to the last mother, I end up creating a dead end for myself.. < ponders >

Before killing the mother, let her grow so all odd tar edges you've made behind you disappear, so you avoid being trapped in a dead end...

Hope it helps

Problem was I was trying to get in the wrong way. Got it now :eyes

I -hate- level 9 hehe. I'd rather have a snake or tar mother in place of each orb. Oh well.. Gonna be there for quite a while I think

level 9 is my least favourite level, by a WIDE margin (level 13 comes second).

That's funny, except for maybe one or two rooms, I thought 9 was quite nice and easy...a fun break from level 8. To each their own, I guess.

Game on,

I completed level 9 in two hours. I needed two months for level 8. 'Nuff said. :buh
