You need to prevent the tar from getting out into the hallway, because otherwise even if you do kill the tar mothers, you won't be able to escape.

However, I am more concerned that you suddenly moved from asking for help on level 7 to asking for help on level 17. I was going to ask if you warped, but the warp room on 4 only takes you to levels 1, 6, or 7, so it can't be that. Did you finally beat that room on level 7, and zoom through 10 levels until this one room on level 17 started giving you trouble? I kind of doubt that as well. If you skipped level 8, by any method, you will be sorely lacking in the skills necessary to complete this level, as tar is introduced on level 8. I highly suggest you go back and complete that level, if you have not yet done so.

Game on,

I think you're confusing people with similar names again. Juanita last asked for help with level 11 and that was about two weeks ago.

Whoops. :look

Public Service Announcement for all you impressionable kids out there: this is what happens when you don't get enough sleep and don't eat a Balanced Breakfast. Stay in school!

My profuse apologies. I'm glad that I at least gave a hint before my accusation. Honestly, this room is easier than most of the ones on this level, I think if you told us what you were having trouble with exactly we could help more...it's probably just some simple thing that you're not seeing right away.

Game on,

I finally finished the level. I know the rooms weren't difficult but I did find several very tedious. And no I didn't warp. Just had a mental block against the tar! Apology accepted ;)
