I'm re-releasing my hold as a fireside chat type thing. It just includes commentary by me on every room in the hold, as well as level starts.

For anyone who might be interested in what I was thinking. I certainly won't be hurt if nobody wants this.

There is at least one scroll added to each room of the hold. Sometimes they're redundant, but that's just how I talk. Deal. The hold has Anyone editing rights to it, so feel free to jump around. Enjoy.

I really don't know. I set the hold to "Anyone" privlidges. And you're downloading the same version as everyone else, and I don't think anyone else had a problem...?

Aw nuts, I'm sorry guys. I just checked and I accidentally set the real Claythro Tower to "Anyone" instead of the Fireside version. I've fixed it and attached it to the first post in this thread. Sorry again for my screw up!

That scroll isn't new to the Fireside chat, it was in the original too. But that doesn't mean it should be blank... It should read "Just to clarify, this orb toggles every door in the room." But I guess its not important enough to re-upload for.

I just found out (from the scroll) that the 'Feather's army on the Rooftop had been removed because it was thought too hard (so now it's just one tar baby). Since I've never seen it, could someone give me a version where that room is included?

It was never released, and it's long since been deleted. Sorry.

No, I don't really think I could. It was quite a while ago. And besides, I don't really think you'd be all that impressed. As I remember it, at the time I was stuck on "more monsters, more difficulty." So the room was just a large horde, roaches, eyes, serpents, wraithwings, goblins, the works. Sure it was tough to get through, but not entertaining. Sorry.

Speaking from personal experience, it's very difficult to re-create a complicated room from memory. One of the rooms I'm adding to the final release of King Reubus' Palace is a re-creation of a room I decided wasn't right for where it was, but didn't copy out to my holding area, so deleted it. I think I might have spent more time trying to remember the original layout than I did to design the original room.

I agree; generally, ideas tend to flee fast unless you write them down or something; then they trickle away. And details in rooms are practically impossible to keep track of; I'm afraid that the room is lost to the sands of time.

Well done man!
I just "finished" Claythro Tower a few days ago and then downloaded Fireside today. It is very nice. You are a master of art and creativity. A few specific thoughts:
1. 7th floor 2N2W. Fireside scroll says that you need to keep the exit from getting blocked. I just left and came back. This room is also easier if you let it fill with tar.
2. Secret room on level 7. Fireside scroll says only one person ever found it, I would like to mention I did, too. And I became obsessed that it was actually useful and found every way to every scroll and then I thought you had to be lying on the scrolls or the room wouldn't be there so I tested every staircase. Man, you are mean! I was so dashed...
3. Okay, this is the only item that I care about any feedback on, the rest were just for fun. I assume that Fireside and the original are identical except for the scrolls. My post in the holds forum about the original says I don't see the ending (which is still true). So upon being allowed to edit Fireside, I find the end stairs go back to the escape, so I think this is a consistent error that needs dealing with, and maybe a re-release?
4. And what weird ending text...
Your hold still rocks man! Level five and Rooftop artwork blows me away!

This is the "hold ending stairs" bug, and the problem could be either with yours or Clayton's installation. Basically, DROD for some reason will "forget" the end staircase setting and reset it to that same level. I have gone straight from setting the staircase to End Hold and exporting, and people still get the bug. As well, I have imported holds that work fine for everyone else, but I still can't see the ending. Unfortunately, the best solution to me seems almost to be to reinstall the newest version of DROD and not import your player, but since most people don't want to lose all their progress they just live with the bug. So, sorry it's happening to you, but you're most definitely not alone.

D'oh! Good find! I'm not gonna fix it though. I'm 100% done with this hold.

I think the scroll said only one person mentioned having found it. Now there's two. Also, I've yet to award those 5 points for identifying the 3 objects in that room. (I have a feeling people are gonna yell at me for not doing a good enough job representing the objects I tried to.)
