Done! There's bunches of clever in here, and the best use of claustrophobia since Veere's Dungeon.

I had fun playing this hold!
Good variety too, in fact it has new and old elements in a nice combination.

Thanks for making this! :thumbsup

Some rooms seemed like random guessing but most of the rooms were fun diversions. Good hold.

Really enjoyable hold!

The claustrophobic effect was probably the best I've seen in a hold (especially with the idea of ascending a narrow tower).

Thanks for a great hold, which must have involved a lot of hard work avoiding unintended solutions :)

I really like the miniatures. They seem easy but some of these rooms are extremely clever! I hated whatever room it was that you had to move three mimics to escape, but other than that this was quality. Thanks!

Returned to solving it today, and now conquered! :D

I've enjoyed solving this a lot. While all of the rooms were cool, my favourites were:

Floor11(on which I was stuck until today ;) );
Floor16;
Floor18(very great idea);
Floor21(a fun optimising room :) );
Floor29.

There were some Floors which were too easy or too tedious for this hold's average difficulty and fun. But they didn't spoil my average difficulty rating of 5,5 brains and my average fun rating 8. :)

A rather cool hold, with an interesting theme. There were a few rooms that I thought were cool

7th Floor: Interesting use of wubba-like movement
9th Floor: Elegant tar/roach puzzle
18th Floor: Challenging without being over the top
26th Floor: Nice trapdoor puzzle, orthosquares make it interesting
33rd Floor: I've not seen a slayer used this way in a puzzle before.

I wasn't fond of some of the swarm rooms though, they had a bit too much of guesswork and trial-and-error.

Overall a pleasantly diverting hold. 9 for fun, 6 brains.

Excellent hold! A very relaxing and medium difficult climb. I'm still stuck on floor 24 :huh

My favourites one were number: 9, 11 (very good one), 13 (nice idea, but it was easy), 18, 23 and maybe 24, that i din't finish yet.

I give it 8 for fun and 6 brains

[This is one of a set of hold reviews I'm writing. For more information, on scoring etc, see here]

General Description

A series of cramped, often minimalistic puzzles – one room a level, with a wide variety of puzzle types. Fun, and not too hard.

Good Points

Good use of enclosed space. Because each puzzle is the room's entrance, the architect has the advantage of forcing the player to start in the midst of the action, rather than at the edge of the room. Some clever puzzles mixed in with some enjoyable combat rooms. Highlights were levels 8, 11, 13 and 25.

Bad Points

Nothing really. No story or special features to speak of, though.

Special or distinguishing features

Use of enclosed space. One room a level.

Creativity: 6/10
Lynchpins: 2.5/10
Story: 1/10
Hack and Slash: 3/10
Efficiency: 1/10
Snake charming: 0/10
Tar-osity: 1.5/10
Overall: 8/10
Difficulty: 6/10

Despite the difference in author name in-game, I've caught on that this hold was made by the same guy who make A Quiet Place, my favorite AE hold. That's what made me play this. I had a bit of an advantage, having seen some of your enclosed hoard puzzles already. I could certainly see the similarity in style.

This here is a good hold. :) None of the stuff the other posters complained about bothered me much. The only level I really disliked was #29; goblins on diagonal grids has been my least favorite puzzle theme since KDD 18, which took me much too long because of it.

I liked the size of the puzzles, and you kept up the variety throughout despite it. It was nice never walking into an orb-filled room and trying to figure out what the point was, as I often have to do in other holds. 8, 9, 23, 24, and 28 were my favorites. And yes, 33 was clever too.

It was over so fast, though! The hold totals say it took me an hour and a half. Somewhere in there I also left it running while I ate lunch. Still, it absolutely beats 20 hours' worth of less creative stuff.

Overall: 9
Difficulty: 4

Looking forward to Floor 44! :glasses

Yaaaay mini-puzzles. There's a surprisingly high variety of puzzle types and some tricky challenges throughout the 33 small-sized rooms. They're quick and fun to solve (my total hold time was only two hours), but a consequence of the design is that quite a few can be solved by trial and error or almost by accident even if you aren't really thinking about them. This isn't necessarily a downside though, since the rooms are strictly linear and it would kind of suck to get stuck on one otherwise. My only real complaints are that some rooms lacked vision tokens or checkpoints that would have helped, and that the final floor was disappointingly anticlimatic after the climb (I think it was literally my fastest solved room).

Would recommend for a quick, frustration-free diversion!
