Player can push them.
they are different colored,and when they get collision with same colored same object,they destroy self.
They color can be changéd with Tar/Mud/Gel Tokens. :)

I'm not sure about Tarstuff Tokens... These blocks aren't made of tarstuff (or they are?)

They could be glass maded objects,what contains Ungrowable Tar/Mud/Gel. ;)

A few things:

1. This idea is tetris-like.(It doesn't make it worse, though)
2. It shouldn't be toggled with tarstuff change tokens. Probably they'll have their own change tokens? And more colours that tarstuff - in addition to red, green, blue... yellow, for example. :)
3. If they have their own tokens, then non-Beethro player should be able to toggle them only after activating power token. For more fun. :)
4. As usual mirrors, these will reflect aumtlichs gaze, too. When it reflected gaze three times it becomes usual mirror.

Also, a little addition to 2(read my previous post):

Change colour tokens won't do anything since all...red, for example, blocks in the room will change in yellow and you'll still be able to drop them like you would drop them while they're red. So, either they have special functions(like you must drop green, for example, colour on the pit and... red, for example, on sand) or there will be blocks in the room which don't change colour if you press change-colour token.

Does it make sense? :)

A little addition to the idea: make these blocks pushable into pit/water. For example, if a 1x1 block is pushed into a pit, then it drops and acts as a normal square further on. If some part of the block is on land, it doesn't drop, as it has to be ENTIRELY over pit. Same with water. It can be used for puzzles, where the player has to push those shapes into gaps (think with wanderers), or use them as a mobile shield or make mazes out of them to delay monsters etc.

And colors... Maybe could be used to define their properties? For example, blue blocks can be pushed into water, black ones cannot be destroyed with a sword, gray are invulnerable to everything (even briar) but are immobile, green can be consumed by tarstuff...
