I know it's an optional room but I hate taking the easy way out . . . so here I am taking the easy way out by posting for help.

I can get a maximum of five moves across in the shadow of the adder, and then it goes into vertical mode and Beethro's stuck. I've tried moving in various east-west patterns to make the adder move in various epicycles, but if anything that makes less progress.

How do you convince this adder to act as an aumtlich parasol for ten whole squares?
