Mini contest - Fastest man alive (+2)

Now you know that the world is a picky place. Things to be done, quickly, and effectively. Well that it creates a problem for me as I need my basement cleared in record breaking time. I have guests to serve and are arriving now! Not am I so rushed for that, but I can't even think enough long to make well sentences!

But to business: Clean room fast /with no wasted steps

Well, I may as well get things rolling with a very slow demo..

Edit - improved to 165 moves

Now that I think about it.. we were probably meant to conquer it as well, weren't we.

Rabscuttle I tried to view your demo, but I got a made in a message: newer version then you have can't install.

I have 3.1.0.54 version, I thought that was the current patch.

Stalwarts are certainly hard to predict at times.

Occasionally things just work, fortunately: now down to 246 moves.

No. I didn't know, everytime I check for patches I see it is the one I have. I get frustrated that if you own a game you don't hear about upgrades or patches. Instead you have to go looking for them. :blowup

O.K. I checked for upgrades when I first asked about Doom's version, this time I did see the upgrade and upgraded. So now everyone else will have trouble with my demo's too. :blush

Well I tried, but I just can't shave that one more move off so beat Doom. But, here is my 246 but a significantly different way on the hot tiles. Minor differences otherwise.

Like Doom said, sometimes the stalwarts are kinder than others. I'm half expecting TFMurphy to come along and obliterate the current scores, as he seems to be one of the best at understanding why stalwarts (and other things) move the way they do. I just worked off trial and error.

I think that score may stand. I shaved off 2 turns to get into position to wait an extra two turns for the Stalwart to get there. I'd be very impressed if anyone can improve that score any more.
