M.I.L.O is one of the entries in the latest JIG design contest. Its a bit DRODish, but it has some interesting elements:
1. The scoring system is a bit weird... it takes into account how many moves you make, but also what interesting things you did along the way(some are bonuses, some are penalties etc), and then there's some sort of multiplier which I haven't figured out yet.
2. The main tactic involves upgrading auxiliary robots (you play MILO, an autonomous robot, but there are other bots both friendly and not) with various elements to get them to do different things.

The game itself is a bit clunky, not entirely turn-based (you'll see what I mean), and (annoyingly) not entirely deterministic. However, I think its similar enough to DROD and just quirky enough that you might enjoy the challenge.
