Suddenly today, when starting up JtRH I see the dreaded red X in the upper corner of my screen, as opposed to the green checkmark I'm used to seeing. I can't connect to CaravelNet in JtRH, although the connection works (green check and all) in KDD2. I requested a new key, but that didn't help. Anybody got any ideas what might be causing this?

You need separate keys for each of your DROD installations. If you entered one key into KDD2, that same key will not work in JtRH. Request another new key and enter it into your JtRH installation.

You can do this within the game and receive an email, but since you have CaravelNet, I'd recommend going to the Profile -> CaravelNet tab. It's instant and doesn't require you opening your email client.
