This is a simple, 15 room hold, with 15 levels, with more than 15 monsters, and 15 puzzles varying on difficulty.

Enjoy this hold, it shouldn't be too hard.

Fifteen levels, fifteen puzzles. The puzzles are all fairly easy, but not tedious or trivial.

It's kind of like eating fifteen breath mints after a roasted roach dinner.

Enjoyable. I give it a 7 for fun and 3 brains of difficulty.

Josh

Nice hold Mr. Slice.

Fun, easy bite-sized hold. Not only are there 15 puzzles on 15 levels, but sadly only takes about 15 minutes to complete. I always like a custom flooring also.

Wow, I didn't expect such happiness one one hold.

Since you seemed to like it, I am in the process of creating a 20 level sequel called: Doctor Beethro Returns! Expect to arrive in about 2 weeks, 20 levels of the past stuff here shouldn't be too hard or too long to create.

The SD indicates a fair bit of disagreement on this hold. I'm trying to decide whether to play it. Can anyone advise?

It's 15 rooms of combat-type puzzles (i.e. they're all Beethro up against a batch of monsters, with not really many much puzzling to be done). I think I'm right in saying they're all brained hordes too.

They're good if you like that sort of thing (choosing the right strategy in dealing with a bunch of monsters can be a fun challenge in its own right) and are looking for a quick, not too difficult hold (they'll take up to 2 mins each).
If you're looking for ingenious/lynchpin/original/complex puzzles look elsewhere.

I'd give it 5 for overall enjoyment (it's short, and not particularly groundbreaking, but still fun), and 2.5 brains.

Although the puzzles weren't particulary challenging or interesting (sadly the 15 pills only consist of simple combat rooms), it was a short and fun hold to play and I was found of the theme and the overall design of the hold. The story could have been presented a little bit better; it's quite thin right now.

I'll give out 6(5,5) points and 3,5 brains.

I haven't played DROD for a while so this was a really nice hold to gently ease myself into a DROD playing mentality. It was fun, quick, and really enjoyable although it doesn't have any incredibly original puzzles or story. Ill give it 4 brains and a 6 for fun. Thanks!

I like to finish things I start so I've always been a fan of small well done holds. And I'm a fan of this hold : short, well designed with pleasing puzzles. Each room has the same shape and contains brained monsters. None of the puzzles is terribly difficult brain-wise : instead the difficulty lies (for me anyway) in optimising. This was a lot of fun to play.

Wow, what a great idea. It only resembles Dr Mario in looks but the puzzles are nice. I think the strong point in this hold is for optimizers, because this is the first hold I've done in a while where my first time through a room I was often well outside of the top 10, or even top 20. Quite embarrassing!

Nicely done. The smallness of the rooms led to some interesting puzzles.
