2. They give the acronym and a broad clue.
3. Over time, they provide more and more detailed clues.
4. Somebody guesses it. It is now their turn.

Answer:

The acronym can be for something obscure, but it should eventually be googlable with the clues.

Neither dual or double screen is what I am thinking of. (or Developers' System)
