Tenth Level: Once North Once West (0)

This is a problem of swordsmanship I am fairly sure. I happily enough despatch the first two roaches by orientating my sword to kill the top one when I pop through the gap, then popping back behind the wall, swinging my sword round and then taking the second out. The only problem is this won't work for the next two pairs due to the force arrows. How do I not die when I pop through that little hole?
