There must be a concept I am missing here as in the previous room. I can kill some of the skipper mounds but not before the skippers get down to the south. Then I will lose a fecundo if I kill them down there. I need the fecundos to kill the 3 upper skipper mounds which will cause the death of each remaining fecundo. I can save the fecundos when killing the skipper mounds in the 4 center ones. I have tried to keep the skippers from getting all the way to the south but usually get overwhelmed. There is either something I'm missing or this takes enormous patience and skill.

There's a demo for this room that you can use by going to the main menu and hitting "Watch Demo".

Thanks for the suggestion. I watched it and I was trying to do what was done in the demo. I think this will be very difficult to complete and take a lot of skill. Also it will take a lot of trial and error.
