Well, some of you may know that I've been around on these forums for a while. I try and contribute whenever possible, and keep up-to-date with the ongoings of the various boards.

I therefore read and have read a lot of threads.

Now, from day one I've had this burning worry - a fear... a phobia almost. It's been nibbling away at me since I first registered. Now, the time has come to find out the truth. And so I ask:

When I mark a board as read, will it also mark any posts which were made after I started viewing that board?

Errr... exactly *how* does one mark a thread as read, anyway? All I ever mark as read are full boards, after I've opened the threads that I'm interested in in tabs...

Threads themselves get marked as read as soon as you load their last page in the browser, at least for me.

But yeah, a parameter to the "Mark all threads as read" link that contains the exact timestamp when the board page was generated would be nice, so that it could mark only the threads that really were displayed on the page as read...
