Journey to Rooted Hold : The Dreamplane : 1 North, 2 West (0)

Those symbols in the picture look like some kind of rune writing to me. I was comparing them to the rune writing symbols in Ultima VII. They look kinda similar...but the ones in the picture are practically meaningless, right?
